TOP 3 MARGARITAS IN SCOTTSDALE

Whether you’re a local Phoenician or just visiting the city for a weekend getaway, these three local restaurants are a must try for their amazing and delicious margaritas. You’ll be singing, “Gimme one margarita, imma…” you know the rest!

My number one pick has to be the Calamansi Margarita at Pyro, located in the Phoenix Metro area. Not only is this margarita beautifully made, but it’s dangerously good! If you love a spicy drink this margarita is perfect for you. It’s not too spicy, but just enough to make you want a few. This stunning restaurant exudes class and luxury, having already won awards for one of the best and most beautiful restaurants that opened in late 2023. I recommend going during their Social Hour, from 1pm - 6:30pm, Monday through Sunday. Talk about a great Happy Hour! This is one you won’t want to miss. Perfect for drinks after a long work day, meeting up with friends or a date night, you won’t regret trying this restaurant.

My second pick has to be from Mochilero, located in North Scottsdale. This restaurant is known for its Mexican dishes and offers various margaritas to choose from. My favorite being their Mochilero Margarita, which I love to customize and ask for as a skinny spicy margarita. If you go during their happy hour, Monday through Friday 2:30-5pm, you can get these at a great price. This restaurant has a worldly latin atmosphere great for a family dinner or drinks with the girls after a fun day of shopping at Scottsdale Quarter or Kierland Commons, either way it's a must try if you’re in the area.

Lastly, my third pick for a margarita is from The Canal Club inside The Scott Resort and Spa, located in Old Town Scottsdale. I always get the Letter to a Friend, which technically is more of a Paloma, but still has tequila in it so it counts, right? They also make a mean spicy margarita, which in case you can’t tell from my two previous picks, I love a spicy margarita! This resort is not only beautiful but has a fun Cuban inspired vibe, with the lobby being more of a lounge and The Canal Club tucked in the back. I highly recommend staying here for a girls weekend or a staycation with your significant other.

If you decide to try one of these picks, be sure to tag Girl About Town and let us know which margarita you ordered.

Cheers!
